What happens
On the night of the 24th the Obradoiro square fills for the fuegos del Apóstol. On the 25th there is a solemn mass in the cathedral, often with the botafumeiro swinging. 2027 is a Holy Year (St James’s Day falls on a Sunday), so pilgrim numbers will be especially high all year.

Late July, with fireworks on the night of 24 July and St James’s Day on 25 July.
Dates for 2027 are based on the fixed date or the usual rule. Confirm with the organisers or town hall before booking.
